Long grew up in Bau Ham Vietnam, an economically poor and undeveloped part of Vietnam located in a rural part of the country. Clean water was not easy for his family to obtain and he experienced the horrors of drinking filthy water first hand. As a result, he became very ill with dysentery, dehydration, and infections from parasites on a regular basis growing up. This influenced him to establish AQUAHERU Foundation in November of 2013. Now, he dedicates his life to ending the global world water crisis and preventing others from going through the same experiences he had growing up without clean water.
